It's the 70th episode! The 70th numbered one, anyway!

Hello out there! This week we have a fun episode. We talk about smiting your enemies, one-shot adventures, armor that carries your body around after you're dead, beating people in the streets, characters named after body parts... We run the whole gamut here at Inter-Party Conflict. Knowhutimean?

Let me ask a question- did this episode sound different to you? Hopefully not. But if so, it might be because Jeff edited this one! Normally I hoard the editing privileges like a greedy dragon fighting off adventurers. But Jeff offered, so I let him go ahead! And I think it turned out great. So everyone go tweet at him or whatever and tell him I said so.

Last week we ran our Roll20 game, which went better than I had hoped (though we didn't have enough time to finish it- we'll have to make plans for that) and we've also gotten a new Red-Tier patron! We recorded this episode before that, though, so we'll be shouting him out on the podcast next week. In the meantime, thanks Christopher! We really appreciate your contribution!

If you'd like to become a patron too (and get outtakes, bonus episodes, fantasy fiction written by me, and a monthly Roll20 game), then all you have to do is go to Patreon.com/InterPartyConflict and see if any of the rewards look good to you! You'll be helping the show and getting cool stuff in return.

This week's Chapel on the Cliffs drawing winner is Jonathan S! Congratulations, Jonathan! Check your spam folder if you don't see your e-mail. And be sure to give Goblin Stone a review!

If anyone else would like to enter the drawing, just e-mail us at InterPartyConflict@gmail.com with "Chapel on the Cliffs" in the subject line! It's that easy!

And remember, Goblin Stone is one of the amazing content creators on the Critnation Fellowship! For more books and modules, check out LoresmythAurican's Lair, and Jeff Stevens- and for more podcasts, visit our great friends at Crit Academy and D&D Character Lab!

Have a great week!

Questions answered this episode:

1. How can I clue my players into things happening behind the scenes (unrest and racism in the land, etc.) without outright telling them?

2. In 5e, can a paladin using an attack with divine smite that brings a creature's hit points to zero declare it as non-lethal?

3. What is a one shot? Do they have to have a satisfying ending? Are one shots good or bad for the game?
