Episode 68: The Saga Continues

Hey, folks! This week brings us another great episode, and I think we touch on some really fun stuff in this one. Our main discussion is about D&D's negative stereotypes (stemming from the "Satanic Panic" from the 80s), and we also talk about the Massive Damage optional rule. The past week has been a rough one, but as they say in the theater, "Macbeth!"

Er, I guess they don't say that. Something about the show going on, that's what I meant.

Anyway, this week's Chapel on the Cliffs drawing winner is Tim C! Congratulations, Tim! You should get an e-mail from Goblin Stone soon, and let me know if you don't. But be sure to let Goblin Stone know what you think! That way they can continue to make great products. And if anyone else would like to enter the drawing, it's as easy as e-mailing us at InterPartyConflict@gmail.com with "Chapel on the Cliffs" in the subject line! Our list of candidates is getting pretty small, so if you enter now, your chances of winning are very high!

And remember, Goblin Stone is one of the great content creators on the Critnation Fellowship! For more books and modules, check out LoresmythAurican's Lair, and Jeff Stevens- and for more podcasts, visit our wonderful friends at Crit Academy and D&D Character Lab!

I hope you all have a wonderful week!

Questions answered this episode:

1. I have a friend I'd like to introduce to D&D but they're hanging onto the negative stereotypes from the 80's. How can I get them to look past the stereotypes and see that it's not bad?

2. How you feel about the massive damage rule? Do you think it's worth incorporating into the game?
