Episode 86 is Mandatory!

Welcome back, listeners! This week we dig deep into some 5th Edition D&D rules for this episode's discussion. We talk about the repercussions of ignoring some of the rules for spellcasting (specifically, costly material components and the Concentration mechanic), and also we talk about the optional Sanity and Honor ability scores presented in the Dungeon Master's Guide. We've got some strong opinions on these topics, so come along for the riveting discussion!

This week's winner of our Chapel on the Cliffs drawing is Terje! Congratulations, Terje! Check your spam folder, and let me know if you haven't gotten your copy after a couple days. And be sure to let Benoit over at Goblin Stone know what you think, so they can keep on making great products!

And if anyone else would like to enter the drawing, it's super easy- just e-mail us at InterPartyConflict@gmail.com with "Chapel on the Cliffs" in the subject line! We're still very low on potential winners, so anyone who enters has a very high chance of winning!

And remember, Goblin Stone is just one of the great content creators in the Critnation Fellowship! For more books and adventures, check out LoresmythAurican's Lair, and Jeff Stevens- and for more podcasts, visit our friends at Crit Academy and D&D Character Lab!

By my honor, I'll see you next week!

Questions answered this episode:

1. How much would it upset the game if I let casters ignore costly material components?

2. How overpowered would it be to give players a magic item that allows more than one Concentration spell at a time?

3. What do you think of the optional Sanity and Honor ability scores in the Dungeon Master's Guide?
